Rationale - Pruning and training are essential to the health, appearance and vigour of landscape plants. In the case of persons interested in horticulture as a hobby, skills in these areas would enhance their satisfaction in a job well done. Perhaps more importantly, however, pruning and training skills are in demand in the sector and also offer opportunities for self-employment.
